1. at the start of the game, it is fine to keep having a slow car because if you can save up you can get a fast car quicker
2. get a tomahawk even though it is hard to control in overdrive and exspensive, it is worth it because it is fast and has good grip (when your not in overdrive)

1. try to get explosive javelins because they are SO good at the start of the game
2. learn how to use your sword and know your combos for rebel bases
3. do the side missions
